Terms & Conditions

The terms on which you use Preez IQ Home, including subscriptions and payment terms. This is information, not legal advice; for your specific business, consult a solicitor.

1. About these terms

  • These terms govern your use of Preez IQ Home ("the Service", "we", "us"), operated on the Base44 platform. By creating an account or running a search you accept these terms on behalf of yourself and any business you represent.
  • If you act on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and the obligations apply to them as well as to you personally where relevant.
  • These terms sit alongside our Trust Center, which explains how the Service helps you stay inside UK data-protection, marketing and consumer-protection law. Where the two overlap, the practical duties in the Trust Center still apply to your use of the Service.

2. The Service

  • Preez IQ Home scores residential addresses for canvassing opportunity using UK public open-data registers (EPC, HM Land Registry Price Paid, postcode open data) plus modelled residential indicators. Scores are inferences about a property, not statements of fact about a named person.
  • Draft outreach messages and doorstep openers are generated by an AI model from your profile details and property-level signals. They are drafts for you to review; they are never sent on your behalf and you remain responsible for every message you deliver.
  • We may update, add or retire features, data sources and industries from time to time. Material changes to these terms will be notified in-app or by email before they take effect.

3. Your account & acceptable use

  • You must keep your login secure and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You agree to use the Service lawfully and only for legitimate home-improvement canvassing and outreach in England & Wales. You must screen numbers against the Telephone Preference Service before calling, hold any consent the law requires for your chosen channel, and honour opt-outs, as set out in our Trust Center.
  • You must not: scrape, resell or repackage our signals or scores to third parties; reverse-engineer, overload or attack the Service; enter data you do not have a lawful basis to hold; or use the Service for anything that would breach UK GDPR, PECR, the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, the Equality Act 2010 or any other applicable law.
  • You remain a separate data controller for any personal data you record about a real householder (names, callbacks, notes). You are responsible for keeping it accurate, secure, purpose-limited and deleted when no longer needed.

4. Subscriptions, plans & payment terms

  • Plans are billed in GBP and charged by Base44 Payments (Wix Payments) on a recurring basis. The plan tier you select — Lite, Pro or Enterprise — sets your monthly allowances for searches and saved prospects as shown on the Subscription page at the time of purchase; Enterprise plans also include multi-seat team access.
  • New accounts get 7 days free before their paid plan starts, with all features unlocked. You must add a payment card when you sign up: £0 is authorised at that point and your chosen plan is charged automatically on day 7 — or, if you do not select one, Lite. You will not be charged if you cancel before day 7. Accounts created before the card-required launch keep their previous cardless free-access terms.
  • Monthly subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar day each month until you cancel. Annual subscriptions, where offered, renew on the same day the following year. Prices may change; we will give you at least 30 days' notice of any increase before it takes effect, and you may cancel rather than accept the new price.
  • Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against the unused portion of your current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing period, so you keep your current allowances until then.
  • If a payment fails we will retry and notify you. The Service may be suspended after a reasonable grace period if payment remains outstanding; data you have already saved remains accessible to you once billing is restored.
  • Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. Where a refund is due (for example a clear billing error), it will be issued to the original payment method.

5. Free period, limits & cancellation

  • Your first 7 days are free and unlock every feature. A payment card is required when you sign up; £0 is authorised at that point and your chosen plan (or Lite, if you do not select one) is charged automatically on day 7. Cancel before day 7 and you will not be charged. The 7 days free is one-time per account.
  • New accounts get 7 days free before their paid plan starts: cancel before day 7 to avoid any charge, or your chosen plan (or Lite, if you did not select one) is charged automatically and the plan's limits then apply. Accounts created before the card-required launch keep the previous cardless free-access terms, with free searches refreshing once a year after your last one. Plan limits for paid plans (searches per period and saved prospects) reset on your billing date. If you reach a limit you can upgrade or wait for the reset; the Service will not silently let you exceed your allowance.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals only. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which the account reverts to read-only or to the free tier then in effect.
  • You can export your saved prospects before downgrading. We do not delete your data on cancellation, but you can request deletion at any time; prolonged inactivity may lead to archival or deletion under our retention controls.

6. AI-generated content & no advice

  • Scores, reasons, outreach drafts, neighbourhood openers and energy estimates are model-generated and modelled. They may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are not a survey, a quote, a guarantee, or financial, legal or tax advice.
  • Before quoting any work you must confirm the property-level facts at the door (tenure, boiler model, heating fuel, listed-building or conservation status). Never present a modelled estimate as a confirmed fact to a householder.
  • For regulated finance (mortgages, equity release, financial advice) you must direct the householder to an FCA-authorised adviser; the Service does not give financial advice and you must not present its outputs as such.

7. Data protection

  • We act as a data processor for the account data you give us (name, email, profile details) and the records you save in the Service (your account profile, searches, prospects). Your saved records are isolated by row-level security so only you, and a platform administrator where strictly needed for support, can access them.
  • The Service does not require, and we do not knowingly process, special-category personal data. Door-captured energy details store only supplier, tariff, meter type and the first two digits of the MPAN; a full MPAN is never stored.
  • You are a data controller for any identifiable-personal data you record about a householder. You are responsible for the lawful basis, accuracy, retention and subject-access response for that data.
  • To exercise your rights over your account data (access, correction, deletion) contact Base44 support; suspected breaches will be investigated under UK GDPR's notification duties.

8. Limitation of liability & indemnity

  • The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
  • You agree to indemnify us against claims, fines or losses arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law while canvassing or contacting householders.

9. Changes, contact & governing law

  • We may update these terms; material changes will be notified before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated terms.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in the country where you live.
  • To ask about these terms, request data action, or report an issue, contact Base44 support. This document is information and does not create a solicitor–client relationship; for your specific business circumstances, take professional advice.

10. Property intelligence, AI & responsible-use disclaimer

  • Preez IQ Home provides property intelligence and AI-generated property opportunity assessments based on available information. It is designed primarily around property-level analysis, not the profiling of individual homeowners.
  • Information may be incomplete or out of date; opportunity scores are indicative rather than guarantees, and AI outputs may be inaccurate. A Property Opportunity Score is an AI-generated property opportunity assessment based on available property and market signals, not a prediction of any individual's behaviour, intentions or financial circumstances.
  • Because information is publicly available does not mean data-protection law does not apply. Where information may relate to an identifiable individual we apply appropriate UK GDPR safeguards.
  • You remain responsible for using the platform in line with UK data-protection, marketing (PECR) and consumer-protection law, and for any personal data you choose to record about a real householder.
  • This document is information only, not legal advice, and does not make Preez IQ Home "100% GDPR compliant". For your specific business circumstances take advice from a qualified UK data-protection or legal professional.
